January was already booked up with 9 Christmas bookings that have rolled over from 2010 to 2011  February is filling up fast and 2 months rehearsal for the new theatre show, and Luxury cruise ship show, Lee’s book project and Lecture tour taking up most of the calender until April, then all the family shows kick in for the rest of the year up till October.

It was a very challenging event.  We were the Lunch time production and the workers could NOT have any drinks as they were still working and dressed in work attire which proved very challenging for Lee to steal items, but he managed to steal 3 watches with metal bracelet straps, belts, id passes, pens, and the odd tie. Great fun had by all.

Old bury nuclear power station is a nuclear power station located on the south bank of the River Severn close to the village of Old bury on Severn  in South Gloucester,England. The rest of December is full with Corporate Parties in the West End of London  a small break over Christmas and through to the 9th of January 2011.

Now in its tenth year, the Frankfurt Christmas Market is the centerpiece of the city’s annual Christmas events calendar.

Birmingham’s own traders offer an entirely different selection of beautiful hand-crafted items at the Christmas fair, created by local artisans, as well as ethnic goods imported from all over the world. Traditional stalls offered the usual array of beautiful handmade toys, Christmas decorations, original jewelery and craft goods as well as a carousel to keep younger visitors entertained.

Visitors can enjoy the delights of German mulled wine (Gluhwein), grilled sausages, vegetarian options, pretzels, German beer, and for those with a sweet tooth, gingerbread, crepes and marzipan sweets.

At the heart of the market in Victoria Square each year is a traditional bandstand where musicians perform every lunchtime and evening. Groups of local carol singers and school children also stage special performances throughout the festive period.

Local performer Lee Thompson’s Pickpocket act is a favourite for Family audiences and international visitors , Lee can present his Pickpocket show In English, German, Spanish, French, Japanese and still remains the UK’s ONLY pickpocket head hunted and hired by Cirque du Soleil.

Also business partner Rags the clown was booked to mix and mingle performing impromptu comedy magic and balloons through out the day specializing with smaller children with the hugely favourite Rags fun time singalong where Rags takes the children on a fun imaginary journey with comedy fun songs, puppets and Maketon sign language  and physical interaction great fun to keep you entertained for the whole weekend.

Another crazy gig landed (No pun intended) on our desk for Lee Thompson the UK’s only Pickpocket Head Hunted and Hired by Cirque du Soleil.
This time Lee was hired to pickpocket a client on Emirate’s airline’s, Lee was asked by newly webs David and Susanna Simtra to pickpocket one of their guests while on the flight bound for The Jumeirah beach resort in Dubai. The client asked Lee to pickpocket the groom’s father ( Photos to follow)
Also this month Lee was Headline act on the Sapphire Princess from Auckland to Fiji performing 2 x 45 mins shows to packed houses on the ship.

Virgin media on the 7th November had a Sc-fi party at Battersey Power Station where pickingpockets.com performed as The Alien Babies (another great walk about act created by Lee Thompson) Mixing and Mingling with international guests.

Royal Financial hired Lee Thompson on the 11th November to meet and greet their guests as the Dickensian Door man and not only steal from them but also secretly load old English penny’s into guests pockets at Vintners Hall and perform his International Pick Pocketing act.
As December approaches Bookings are flooding in for Lee’s interpretation of Charles Dickens “Fagin” here Lee Thompson present’s ‘Fakin’; the look-alike that also does alike!! Together with his counterpart ‘Nancy’, they transport the audience to a time very dear to everyone’s hearts.

With stylised ‘mix and mingle’ entertainment at its best, Fakin and Nancy climax with “Ohm Pa Pa” plus a pick pocketing cabaret that will bewilder all whom have the pleasure of witnessing a master crafts man at work!

Our Eccentric comedy waiters have been performing at many weddings this month giving absolutely terrible table service in a hilarious manner with a twist , performing close up magic, comedy and after dinner cabaret.

Lee Thompson has been performing as a Headline act on many cruises,  Royal Caribbean Independence of the seas, Celebrity and Princess cruises.

Over the last 5 consecutive years Lee Thompson and his team have been hired to perform at the N.E.C (National Exhibition Centre) Birmingham, West Midlands for Blue Max Group.

This year they once again hired Cirque du Soleil performer and lead Pick Pocket, Lee Thompson to help draw meaningful traffic to their stand.

Automatically putting spectators mind into thinking mode, Lee’s performance is the key to a great method that relaxes and reassures prospective clients bringing them onto the stand.  Using psychologically intriguing entertainment to create a busy stand and draw attention away from the competition therefore increasing new client potential.

Party entertainers can do many things to keep the kids occupied; just a few examples would be puppets, magicians, clowns, face painters, fun games, music and balloons. Kids are sure to love an act or two from someone that can show them this! And the great thing about this is that you can find entertainers for a reasonable price. You do not have to spend thousands just so that our child and their friends can have a good time and a party to remember. In this case you can make the theme colorful and pretty (or handsome) and when the entertainer is introduced it will make a more interesting appearance.

For kids seven years old and younger there are games like Hunt The Thimble, Musical Statues, Pass The Parcel, Simon Says, Musical Bumps, Musical Chairs, and Pin The Tail On The Donkey. Where as for kids that are 7 years old and older, some ideas party entertainers might have are Bingo, Limbo, Name Game, Odds and Evens, Number 6, Disco Dice, Memory Game, Over and Under and the Knight Of The Castle. These are just a few possible games, if you would like these to be played you should ask specifically first, just to make sure the entertainer knows it and is willing to do it.
